Dark Horse

This  is  a  great  restaurant  in  Riverhead ,NY .
It's   right on main street . 
I have only  eaten here  a  few  times but  it was  so  good.
  

   Brasserie  salad - (  chopped romaine arugula, & baby spinach 
toasted walnuts,  bleu cheese  roasted beets, apples with a 
w. red wine vinaigrette dressing )   it delicious. 


The  Shrimp w lemon and roasted garlic, basmati rice and vegetables  is  my  favorite. 


They make  good  drinks and wine  is  reasonable  priced.

Hamptons Player Club

This  place  just  opened  about  2  weeks  ago .  I guess  since it's  a new  restaurant  there   was  only  one  other  group  of  people there.
 We  ordered   salad   before  our  meal  it  was nice  and  fresh

. It   would  of  been   nice  to have  some  type  of  bread   but they don't serve any .    
I decided  to get the  Pesto  Shrimp  pizza  it was  really  good. It had a  Thin Crust and it
 was nice  and  crisp around the edges .

My  husband  got the Striped Bass  he  said it was okay  nothing  to special  about  it.

It's  a nice  place  a little high priced  though. The drinks are also on the  high  end. It's  nice  if  you are  going for  a  special  occasion  . I  wouldn't  made it  a regular  place  for  me to   go.

Outerbanks Club Bar - Resto

This  restaurant  is  located at  Indian Island  Golf  Course  in  Riverhead ,    NY  .
If  you are  a  golfer  they  have  a special for that.






Their smothered  chicken  sandwich with caramelized  onions, melted  mozzarella  cheese  and  honey mustard is  really  good and the  french fries are great nice  and crispy.


I have  to say one of  my favorites  there is  the  Broiled  Oreganata Tilapia - (seasoned bread  crumbs , garlic , white  wine ).  You  get  a  good  size  portion and it  taste so good.

I have  also  had  the   Tequila Shrimp  Kebobs and  they  where good  too.

The Coast Grill

The  food  at  this  restuarant  was  really good.
  I got  a  deal  from  Groupon.com  , I paid  $25.00  for  $50.00  off  the  meal.
 Groupon.com  has  great  deals  , they have  new deals  daily.

 We   got  the  special  salad  with  candied  beets, pistachos  and  avocados.  It  was  really  good.

I got  the  Scottish  Salmon  it  was  delicious .

My  Husband  got  the  Special  Stripe  Bass.

   
Monday night is Lobster Night!!  A  2-course lobster dinner for $29!!
We  want to go  back and  try the  2- course lobster dinner.

Four Doors Down Restuarant

 This  restuarant is  located  in  Mattituck , NY .
 I have  to say  this is one of the  worst places I  have  eaten  at.
 For  starters  we ordered  drinks  bartender  came over to the  table  to ask  how to make  the  drinks .
The  waitress was in another world  wasn't even sure  what they  served. Do  not go by  the  menu  half the stuff on the  menu  they  haven't  even served  in  years  according to the waitress.  They  really  need to  update their  menus. We  finally  found  something to order on the menu.
We ordered  these items:

Buffalo Wings (9)

Crispy Fried  Mild  Sauce served with Bleu Cheese Dressing Celery and Carrots

THERE  WHERE  WAS  NO  MEAT ON THEM AND THEY WHERE  DRIED OUT.

Small  Salad

Local Garden Greens, Red Onions, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Gorgonzola Cheese,  served with choice of  dressing 

THE  SALAD  WASN'T  BAD , NOTHING   SPECIAL.

Fresh Tilapia

Sautéed in a butter and caper sauce served with red potatoes or rice and vegetable of the day .

 TO  START  NOT  SURE WHAT COATING  WAS ON THE FISH, THIS WAS NOT  FRESH FISH, IT HAD NO TASTE  THE CAPERS ON TOP WHERE BURNT AND  DRIED  OUT.

WE  HAD  TO  GET  A BAKED POTATO  WHICH WAS BURNT ON  THE OUTSIDE  AND  DRYED  UP INSIDE ,  AS YOU  SEE ON THE LISTING  CHOICE OF  RED POTATOES  OR RICE  (these  items we  where told haven't  been served in  years) . 

 OUR  VEGETABLE  OF THE  DAY WAS  STRING  BEANS-  THEY  WHERE HARD  NOT EVEN  COOKED.

Do yourself  a  favor  and don't  waste  your  time  going  there.

 We  should  of  know  we  where the  only  ones  there  the entire  time not  one  person  came  in.

Sage Cafe

This  is  a  great  place  in Bluepoint ,NY .  It looks small  from the  outside but  they have great  food.
 My  favorite  appetizer  is the  sesame  chicken  fingers  .They  have  great  specials every  day.
The   menu  isn't  a large one  but what they  serve  is good.

They also  have  GREAT NEW WINES by the BOTTLE for $15! THAT'S RIGHT - Bottles of Wine for ONLY $15! 
Villa Jaime Pinot Grigio - Pacific Edge Chardonnay - Pacific Edge Merlot - Pacific Edge Cabernet Sauvignon and Villa Jaime Chianti!

Brewsters Seafood Market

This  is  great  place  for  anyone that  loves  seafood.  It's  in  Hampton   Bays.
I have been  here  several  times  , mussels  where  great  .Salmon  was delicious  too.

Shippy's Restaurant

I  have  eaten  here  only  a few times but  have enjoyed  the food.
You  really  get  good  sized  portions  of   food.  I had  the  Filet Mignon  it  was  delicious .
They  have   daily  Dinner  Specials ( comes  with soup  or  salad and  potato &  vegetable ) .
